"IAPEP Saúde" and "Plano Médico de Tratamento e Assistência (PLAMTA)" (Treatment and Care Medical Plan) are respectively the outpatient and hospital plans of the "Instituto de Assistência e Previdência do Piauí (IAPEP)" (Institute of Assistance and Welfare of Piauí). In 2006, we led the restructuring of health services of IAPEP, 40 years after its creation, as the existing systematic did not meet the needs of most users.
There were long queues for medical consultations and exams marking and the internal management was hampered by an outdated model. Furthermore, the amount paid to providers was below of the market average, which caused bad care to the beneficiary client and resulted in widespread dissatisfaction.
Today, the plans are considered the biggest and the better of Piauí, surpassing even the most well-known private health care plans. Customers are very satisfied, because our technology allows them to be attended in clinics and hospitals directly without having to go before to the headquarters of the plan or face queues.
The management was also much improved and now it's possible to have total control over incomes and expenses, which allows the self-sufficiency of the plans, which work totally on public sponsorship. And all of this with the average cost per capita of only R$ 41.00!
"Saúde Recife" is a system of hospital and outpatient health care for municipal employees of Recife. Created in 2005, the plan was initially linked to the Health Care System of the State Public Servers (SASSEPE), which restricted its service to the "Hospital do Servidor" hospital and some accredited clinics.
In 2007, driven by the rapid growth in incomes, inconsistent with the type of service offered, the "Saúde Recife" entered into a process of restructuring, which was assisted by INFOWAY. The changes started with the creation of an own network, which includes the best medical offices, clinics and hospitals in the region and with changes in the plan system, which, now, allows beneficiaries to go directly to providers.
The results came quickly. After only two months of the beginning of what was called "New Saúde Recife", the quality of client service could be certificated by customers, the portfolio had grown by 20% and the providers praised the agile and differentiated technology, for which we provide permanent training and 24h support.
The plan also has a Relationship Center and Medical Advice, maintained by our partner Med Alliance, which provide personalized client service and are fully integrated with our systems.
Uniplam was created by the "Associação Piauiense de Municípios (APPM)" (Association of Municipalities of Piauí) to provide a health care plan to the municipal employees of Piauí. It came up in 2005 with the mission of offering a product which were compatible with the financial reality of a portion of the population, at the time, excluded of supplementary health care plans. Uniplam led to this segment protection in cases of emergency and hospitalization, with the quality and credibility known from other plans, such as PLAMTA.
Since its beginning, the plan has our advice for creating the accredited network, definition of regulation policies, medical audit and portfolio management, as well as financial control and accounts processing. Our software is used to internal and external management, providing an effective control of establishments and health professionals and ensuring that there is no wastage of resources in order to maintain the lowest possible cost to the end user.
